Terms of use

Updated on October 26, 2026.

These are the rules for subscribing to and using Vigioo Sign. We wrote them in plain language; if anything is unclear, talk to us.

1. Who we are and acceptance

  • Vigioo Sign is a service of Vigioo Tecnologia Ltda, CNPJ 55.755.126/0001-68, called "Vigioo" here.
  • By subscribing, creating an account or using Vigioo Sign, you state that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use it for a company, you state that you are authorized to do so.
  • Someone who only receives a document to sign (the "signer") does not subscribe to anything with Vigioo: their acceptance is the one shown on the signing screen (section 7).

2. Words we use

  • "Customer": the person or company that subscribes to Vigioo Sign.
  • "Signer": whoever receives the invite and signs a document sent by a customer.
  • "Envelope": the document (or set of documents) sent for signature. Each envelope counts as one document in the plan.
  • "Audit trail": the record of each envelope's steps (sending, opening, code confirmed, signature), with date and time.
  • "Platform": the website, the dashboard, the API and the public verification page of Vigioo Sign.

3. What the service does

  • It lets you send PDF documents for electronic signature, with one or more signers, signing order, deadline, automatic reminders, email confirmation code, visual signature (drawn, typed or created by AI) and a final PDF with certificate and audit trail.
  • It also offers a public authenticity checker, an API with access tokens and webhooks signed with HMAC, and the integration with Vigioo Imob and the CRM.
  • Features marked "coming soon" on the website are not part of the subscription until they are released. We may improve, change or remove features, with advance notice when this affects what you subscribed to.
  • We do our best to keep the service available, but it depends on the internet and on hosting and email providers, and may stop for maintenance or for failures outside our control.

4. Account, access and security

  • You must give true information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your passwords and API tokens safe and for everything done with them. If you think someone used your access without permission, tell Vigioo and change the password or revoke the token right away.
  • Unlimited users per account are still "coming soon". Until then, access for your team is arranged with Vigioo.

5. Plans, prices and payment

  • The plan is chosen by tier of documents per month (20, 50, 100, 200 or 300), monthly or annual, with every available feature included. Prices are those published on the website at signup.
  • You can change tiers whenever you want. Price changes only apply to the next period and are announced in advance.
  • Only on the 300-document tier, each document over 300 in a month costs R$ 0.99. On the other tiers, once you reach the limit you need to move up a tier.
  • On the annual plan you pay for 10 months and use 12.
  • A request made on the website does not charge anything: our team will contact you to confirm the details and arrange payment. There is no free trial and no free plan.
  • Late payment may lead to suspension of the service (section 13), without deleting your documents before notice.

6. Proper use

  • You are responsible for the content of the documents you send, for having the right to send them and for correctly identifying the signers (name, email and, when requested, phone and CPF).
  • By adding signer data, you state that you have a legal basis for it and for contacting them through Vigioo Sign.
  • The Platform may not be used for fraud, impersonation, illegal content, unsolicited bulk messages, trying to access areas or data of other accounts, overloading the service or getting around plan limits.
  • You may not copy, resell or take apart the Platform, or use the Vigioo brand without permission.

7. Legal validity and the signer's signature

  • Vigioo Sign provides electronic signatures with code confirmation and an audit trail. In Brazil, Provisional Measure 2,200-2/2001 (art. 10, § 2) and Law 14,063/2020 recognize electronic signatures when the parties accept that means.
  • This is not the qualified signature with an ICP-Brasil certificate. When the law or your business requires an ICP-Brasil certificate or a specific form (such as certain notary acts), use the required means. It is up to the customer to check whether the document accepts an electronic signature.
  • To record the signature, Vigioo Sign stores: the code used, date and time, the IP address, device and browser data (such as system, language, time zone and screen resolution), the estimated location and the acceptances given on screen. These records are the proof of the signature and appear in the audit trail.
  • By signing, the signer states that they are the indicated person, that they read the document, that they agree to sign electronically and that the information they provided is true. The visual signature (drawn, typed or created by AI) expresses their will to sign; on its own it does not prove who signed, which is why the code and the audit trail go with the document.
  • Each signed document gets a verification code and a digital fingerprint (SHA-256) of the PDF. Anyone can check authenticity on the public verification page, with the code or by uploading the PDF.

8. Keeping documents

  • Sent documents and final PDFs are kept on the Vigioo Sign servers (see where in the Privacy Policy) while the account is active, because the proof of the signature depends on them remaining available.
  • We recommend that the customer also downloads and keeps their own copy of the final PDF. Vigioo takes care in keeping them but does not guarantee the recovery of documents in every circumstance.
  • The customer may ask for documents or the account to be deleted; see the effects in section 13 and in the Privacy Policy. Documents may be kept for the period the law requires or for Vigioo's defense in a dispute.

9. AI-created signature

  • The option to create the visual signature with artificial intelligence uses an external provider, which receives only the person's name to generate the image. Use is optional: the signer can draw or type instead.
  • The generated image is a signature design, not a handwritten signature. It counts as the will to sign because it is tied to the confirmation code and the audit trail.

10. API, integrations and third parties

  • The API and webhooks are for the customer's use, within plan limits. Keep tokens secret and check the HMAC signature of the notifications you receive.
  • The integration with Vigioo Imob and the CRM follows these Terms and those of the integrated product.
  • The service uses hosting, email and artificial intelligence providers. Vigioo chooses these providers and answers for them to you as the law requires, but is not responsible for failures of services the customer contracts on their own and connects to Vigioo Sign.

11. Intellectual property

  • The Platform, the Vigioo brand and Vigioo Sign belong to Vigioo. Subscribing does not transfer any right over them, only the right to use the service while the contract is in force.
  • The documents and data the customer sends remain the customer's. The customer allows Vigioo to process them only to provide the service, as described in these Terms and in the Privacy Policy.
  • Suggestions and ideas you send us may be used to improve the service, at no cost and without notice.

12. Liability and limits

  • Vigioo is responsible for what it promised to do: keep the Platform running with care, record the audit trail and protect data as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Vigioo is not responsible for the content of documents, for what the parties agreed between themselves, for a judge's or an authority's decision about accepting an electronic signature in a specific case, or for wrong data given by the customer.
  • To the extent the law allows, Vigioo's total liability to the customer is limited to what the customer paid in the 12 months before the event, and Vigioo is not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.
  • If a third party makes a claim against Vigioo because of a document or use by the customer against these Terms or the law, the customer bears the consequences and reimburses Vigioo.

13. Suspension and cancellation

  • You may cancel whenever you want, with no fee and no lock-in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
  • Vigioo may suspend or end the account, giving notice when possible, in case of non-payment, use against these Terms, risk to the security of the Platform or an order from an authority.
  • When the contract ends, access to the dashboard and to sending new documents is closed. Before that, download the final PDFs you want to keep. Documents already signed can still be checked with the public code while they are kept on our servers.
  • What happens to data after cancellation is in the Privacy Policy.

14. Personal data

  • Personal data is processed under the Privacy Policy and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018). For the signer data the customer adds, the customer decides why and how to use it, and Vigioo processes it on the customer's behalf, only to provide the service.

15. Disagreements

  • If something goes wrong, talk to us first: we want to solve it by talking. We will answer within a reasonable time.
  • If the disagreement persists, the parties will try an amicable solution before going to court.

16. Changes to these Terms and governing law

  • We may update these Terms. The current version is published on this page, with the date of the last update. Changes that affect what you subscribed to will be announced before they take effect.
  • Vigioo's notices to the customer will be sent to the email given at signup. If any part of these Terms cannot be applied, the rest remains in force.
  • Brazilian law applies. The venue is the district of Vigioo's head office, unless the law sets a different rule for consumers.
