Security and legal validity
Electronic signatures are accepted in Brazil, and every document carries the evidence of who signed, when and how.
What the law says
- Provisional Measure 2,200-2/2001 (art. 10, § 2) recognizes documents signed electronically by means other than an ICP-Brasil certificate, as long as the parties accept that means.
- Law 14,063/2020 splits electronic signatures into simple, advanced and qualified. The qualified one uses an ICP-Brasil certificate.
- Vigioo Sign provides electronic signatures with a confirmation code and an audit trail, which covers the vast majority of contracts between companies and people. When the law requires an ICP-Brasil certificate or a specific form (such as certain notary acts), use the required means. Digital certificate authentication is coming soon.

What is an electronic signature?
It is a way to sign a document online, without paper. The person opens the invite, confirms it is them with a code and signs. Everything is recorded in the document audit trail.
Is it legally valid?
Yes. Provisional Measure 2,200-2/2001 and Law 14,063/2020 recognize electronic signatures in Brazil. For the few cases in which the law requires an ICP-Brasil certificate or a specific form, use the required means; digital certificate signing is coming soon to Vigioo Sign.
How does the signer sign?
They get the invite by email, open it on a phone or computer, type the confirmation code and make the visual signature (drawn, typed or created by AI). No account needed.
What counts as a document?
Each envelope sent for signature counts as one document, no matter how many people sign it.
Can I change tiers?
Yes, whenever you want, up or down.
What if I go over 300 documents in a month?
On the 300 tier, each extra document costs R$ 0.99. On the other tiers, just move up to the next tier.
How does the annual plan work?
You pay for 10 months and use 12: that is 2 months free.
Is there a lock-in?
No. No lock-in, no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
Is there a free trial?

How many users can I have?

Is there an API?
